There’s always something to hide, or someone you want to hide it from.

Call me old fashioned or what not but what happened to those days where a woman can pick being a mother as a life long career?

I’m In awe right now!

Mastering the art of realisation.

As I lay down in my bed, I like to look back on the day and brainstorm. I like to think about the people I met up with, the life lesson which I’m currently finding out (the harsh way), the way people react to things, and the way people treat you.

Sometimes you come across occasions or instances where you can’t figure everything out, no matter how many times you try or ask, people aren’t always ready to be forthcoming.

Just know, there will be someone who you can rely on. And as for the other people you come across throughout your life, always present your life as perfection. Don’t lie to them. Simply leave out the bad bits.

Open your eyes.

Today, I’ve come to realize just how incredibly blessed I am to have parents and a brother who accept me for who I am, mainly being my orientation. To have friends who are so incredibly loving that such a thing will make absolutely no difference in the way they treat me and respect me. To live on an island, which although could definitely improve on our human rights and law’s , does not condemn us to death ,or life imprisonment, for being a homosexual. I realize how lucky we are that we can take a stand for our rights and not have to worry about our lives. That we are free to carry out peaceful demonstrations and not get stoned. We are able to walk out of a gay bar and not get beaten so as to end up only a few seconds away from death.

I’m not saying it’s perfect, but many (as I was up until a few minutes ago) don’t realize how lucky we are here. To whom ever is reading this out there, I don’t know what your situation is. I don’t know how bad things are there. But what I do know is; that if you’re reading this, then you must be in a safe environment. One where you don’t have to worry about your own loved ones giving your names to the authorities simply for being homosexual. A place where you aren’t forced to go into hiding, afraid for your life, because you love another man or woman.

Examine your life and appreciate it. You have your basic right. The one that’s being snatched from so many people every day in certain parts of the world;

The right to be happy

Just want to thank Rach for sending the vids. It’s truly changed my perspective and knowledge on things. xxxxx
